The Financial Services Commission of Mauritius (“FSC”) had issued a communiqué on 31 March 2021 regarding the “Extension of due dates for filing of financial statements and returns due to the impact of the Covid-19 curfew period.” Further to a new communiqué released today, the FSC is extending the timeline for the filing of reporting obligations to 30 September 2021. Submissions concerned with this extension are as follows:
- Audited Financial statements/annual reports, financial summaries and quarterly/interim financial statements.
- Actuarial report, auditor’s certificate and statutory returns.
Regarding the filing of documents relating to risk management framework, auditor’s report and actuary’s report, the deadline has been extended to 31 December 2021.
