Mr. Assad Abdullatiff, Managing Director of Axis Fiduciary Ltd has been featured in the annual review of 2021-2022 of STEP as the chairman of the STEP Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (“EDI”) Committee. The interview inter alia covered the benefits to STEP in embracing EDI and the importance of EDI for Mr. Abdullatiff.

STEP is the reference global professional body including, trustees, attorneys, accountants and other professionals that assist families in making their futures. Mr. Assad emphasised the significance of STEP in overcoming unfavorable stereotypes or unconscious biases to allow STEP to get the most from the widest possible range of perspectives, expand its talent pool, and improve its reputation.

Mr. Abdullatiff further stressed on the importance of EDI and his strong belief in a system that guarantees equal opportunity and treatment for everyone.

On the strength of the experience gained as the chair of STEP EDI committee, Mr. Abdullatiff is looking forward to contributing to the further enhancement of the Axis EDI agenda.
