During the official launch of the third India-Africa Entrepreneurship & Investment Summit (the “Summit”) held in Mauritius from 20 to 21 July 2023, the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr. Prithvirajsing Roopun, emphasized Mauritius’ crucial role in bridging India and Africa for accelerated trade and investment, as well as fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems. He praised Mauritius’s progress and strategic positioning, envisioning the Island as a strategic bridge for fostering greater investment and trade ventures between the two regions.
The Indian High Commissioner, Mrs. K. Nandini Singla, emphasized India’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Africa, focusing on priority areas like renewable energies and digital technologies. The Summit aimed to leverage the potentials of both regions to foster mutual growth and development while enhancing bilateral ties.
