The Financial Services Commission (“FSC”) has issued a communiqué on the 30 September 2021 informing the public about the signing of the Administrative Arrangement for the transfer of personal data between European Economic Area (“EEA”) Authorities and non-EEA Authorities. The FSC has also been added to the Master List of Appendix B signatories published on the International Organization of Securities Commissions (“IOSCO”) website.

The objective of this arrangement is to facilitate cross jurisdictional exchange of information and to adhere to international data protection standards.
