The Small and Medium Enterprise (“SME”) Mauritius organised an International Business Network regrouping investors from South Africa and Local Entrepreneurs from different sectors to discuss opportunities for business.
The South African delegation, which consisted of some 20 start-ups and the Small Entreprise Development Agency (“SEDA”), an institution supporting start-ups in South Africa, met with Mauritian entrepreneurs to discuss the value of cross jurisdictional collaboration for the economic progress of Mauritius and South Africa. The relevance of entrepreneurial ventures was reiterated at the event with strong focus placed on the importance of entrepreneurship in rebuilding the global economy in the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
