Please be informed that Mauritius is currently under the threat of tropical cyclone Batsirai and a cyclone warning class 4 is currently in force in Mauritius. On the current trajectory, Batsirai is expected to pass at its closest point to Mauritius around midday today.

In line with the national protocols and local regulations, all businesses are currently closed with immediate effect and as such, our office is closed. Should there be any transactions which will require our involvement and cannot be expedited, kindly reach out to your respective relationship person who will be able to advise you on how best to deal with these. Please be aware that the cyclonic conditions are causing a lot of disruptions with regards to power cuts and internet connectivity issues.

We expect to resume work on the next working day where a cyclone warning is removed late afternoon. Axis will continue to monitor the situation and will further advise as and when further official details are announced.
