Dr The Honourable Renganaden Padayachy, Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Development presented the National Budget 2022 – 2023(the “Budget”) on Tuesday 07 June 2022.

The Axis budget brief 2022/2023 highlights the salient elements of the Budget with focus on pertinent features of the financial services industry, ease of doing business, amendments to taxation regulations and the strengthening of the Mauritian AML/CFT framework.

Once the Finance Act is released Axis will publish a detailed paper on the measures to be implemented following the Budget 2022-2023.
