We are pleased to announce that the Managing Director of Axis Fiduciary Ltd, Assad Abdullatiff, has been admitted as a member of the Academy of The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law. The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, established in 1975, initially focused on understanding the legal systems of countries where it convened. Over time, its focus has shifted to the in-depth analysis of wealth transfer, including its substantive requirements, tax implications, and the entities through which wealth is managed, such as trusts, foundations, and estates. The Academy also examines complex issues like preserving multinational family businesses, property rights in marriage and divorce, and the impact of international conventions, leveraging the expertise of its members, many of whom have served as advisors or delegates to global legal bodies.
